Founded by Alberto Dini in 1939, the company is located in the historical center of Florence. Since its establishment, Dinicaffè has always had as its main goal the spreading of the culture of the coffee through the processing and marketing of a unique product for its aroma, body and taste.

In November 1966 the company was completely destroyed by the flood that struck the city of Florence.

After a period of transition in a temporary location, in 1968 Dinicaffè was transferred to the current site located in via dei bastioni at the foot of Piazzale Michelangelo.

The 1996 was a key year for the evolution of the corporate strategy based on quality.

In this year, Dinicaffè founded the Association of Certified Speciality Coffee (CSC) with Arcaffè of Livorno, Caffè Agust of Brescia and Caffè Roberta of Modena. CSC currently uses the ISO 9001 certification.
